GENERAL INFORMATION

This product should be used to help protect pet food and grain from moisture related problems, especially caking. The minimum amount necessary to achieve the desired anticaking effect must be determined by the user, not to be greater than 2% by weight of the total ration. Smaller grains, which have proportionally larger surface areas, and oilier feeds may require closer to 2% w/w UrthPet Diatomaceous Earth to be effective, while larger, less moist/oily feeds will require less. For best results, grain should be treated immediately after harvest. Treated grain or feed should be transferred to and stored in a clean, air-tight storage bin in a cool, dry storage area.
