Designed to adapt from metal female pipe thread to PEX, copper, or CPVC tubing on the COLD WATER SIDE ONLY of a hot and cold water supply system. Where hot or changing temperatures are likely to be encountered, utilize a short metal nipple in conjunction with a Genova Universal Fitting Special Female Adapter. PTFE tape is the accepted method of sealing pipe threads or CPVC fittings. Do not use other materials or compounds unless specifically approved by the manufacturer.
