Road & Home Bathtub Trap

Road & Home

If your bathtub has been leaking, it could be a sign that your bathtub trap needs to be replaced. A trap is a common plumbing mechanism used near sinks, toilets, tubs, and other appliances to stop sewer gases from reentering your home. The trap is usually a bent pipe that captures water in the bend. This water stops incoming sewer gases but allows outgoing gases to pass through. Like other parts of your RV and mobile home plumbing system, the trap could get cracked, clogged, or otherwise impeded. When this happens, you need to act fast to repair and potentially replace the trap to keep your plumbing working properly. This particular product is made from ABS, which is a durable, corrosion-resistant plastic.
