This screen door spring-loaded catch is constructed of steel and comes in a zinc-plated finish. These catches feature dual roller arms which engage each time the screen door is closed. This catch helps keep the screen doors in a closed position, preventing the doors from opening as a result of loose or worn door closers and latches. This spring-loaded catch is safe to use on all types of swing-out screen doors, as the no-mar rollers that press against the door will not scratch its finish. This catch works on most door and casing thicknesses.
